Like /r/WatchItForThePlot, but for comics
Links must have the comic source written in brackets [ ] in the title. The specific issue isn't required, but people will love you if you add that too.
Posts must come from a legit comic. This includes comic books, comic strips, web comics, manga, etc. This does not include fanart, fan-made comics, foam dispensers (ask u/Thayerphotos), hentai, comic parodies, or AI art (However if you do have something like that that you'd like to post, head over to /r/rule34comics or /r/sexcomics.)
If you see something in a comic, and it just makes you feel some kinda way and gets your motor running, then this is the place to post it. Odds are, someone else will feel the same way.
Image links need to be uploaded to reddit or come from a direct image host. No blog posts, or articles with images, or websites with a slideshow that spams you with ads, etc. The exception to this is webcomics (see rule 5).
If your post is from a web comic, please directly link to the website it came from. They deserve your web traffic. The exception to this is if the author of the webcomic posted directly to Reddit. In that case, crosspost.
Pretty straight forward. Don't spam the subreddit please.
Don't post an entire issue of a comic book, even if it is plot from cover to cover. That isn't fair to the people who made the comic. Compilations from multiple issues are allowed, so long as it's 6 or fewer images from a single comic in that compilation.
Look, I get it. Free comic book sites are pretty great if you don't have a lot of money or you're uncertain about a book. That said, reading comics for free instead of buying them screws the creators out of being able to make more comics and the publishers from being able to distribute them. Don't put up image links with banners advertising those kinds of sites or encourage others to use those sites in the comments.
Don't be gross. We're all here for cheesecake and beefcake, but that doesn't mean we should be disrespectful about it.
Sometimes, especially after Imgur changed their site rules, dead links happen. If you should see a post with a dead link, please report it and we'll get it removed.
