Be courteous to others. If someone posts material you do not like or is offensive to you, do not respond or start an argument in the channel. If you believe material posted is illegal, offensive, or immoral, the moderators will look into it. If they find the material is inappropriate, they will remove it and warn poster. On the other hand if you attack poster because you found material offensive, you will be the one receiving a warning.
Not tolerated: hateful speech, trolling& spamming.
Do not post images, videos, scenes, looks, etc. that could be considered illegal, strongly offensive, or immoral. If you are not sure, run it by the moderators first. Not everyone likes the same things, so this policy for offensive content will be more lenient than some might like. Some material is just offensive to some, but not all.
Depictions of illegal things like child pornography, however, will not be tolerated and will be removed and warning and/or ban will be issued.
This sub has thrived because the community has always acted in mature, respectful, and collegial ways. The spirit here has always been one of collaboration, respectful peer review, and encouragement.
You should understand that by posting your scene or looks, you are agreeing to share your work for others to learn from and to use.
If you are going to use someone else's asset commercially or in an image, you must reach out to the owner and ask for permission. Always provide credit when posting.
Do not post copyrighted or licensed material. Piracy will not be tolerated on this sub. Warning will be issued. Repeat offenders will be banned.
Don't distribute textures from models you purchase in the DAZ store. This would be a violation of the license terms.You are welcome to share a link to the store, so others can purchase the model for personal use.
Copyrighted materials that are posted will be removed immediately.
You are allowed to share images, and links to the store.
Posts must be tagged with one of the following:
scene - is strictly for scene content release
looks - is strictly for looks content release
discussion - is for discussion only
sneak peek - previews of upcoming scenes or looks
environments - for maps made for MAP Loader environments
tools - self explanatory
fluff - light commentary, sharing of links, etc.
texture - self explanatory
morph - self explanatory
request - self explanatory
Always rename the files from VAM standard to something meaningful.
-Format: NameOfCreator_SceneDescription.json /.jpg
-Upload teaser image to Imgur.com (details see below)
-Upload scene files (*.json and *.jpg) to Mega (details see below) or Google drive
-Create one folder per scene (-set)
-Post new thread to Reddit with a link to the teaser image at Imgur.com
-Name the thread meaningful
-Post link to the scene in 1st comment with a short description
All posts should be tagged correctly.
Patreon links, whether free content or backer-only posts must point directly to a download, or the post which contains a download link to the content.
Links to other sites should take the user directly to the page or post containing the content being shared on the reddit post.
Abbreviations, Nicknames and different names are perfectly fine.
Always avoid using the real name. This applies to stage names as well.
Do not submit real photos in your posts, galleries or files.
When making up nicknames, if you are unsure, google your nickname, if the results point to your celeb / person then it is too close to the original.
Posts with real names, celebrity names or real images will be notified & alerted to make changes. If no change is made after 12 hours, it is removed.
When you post images and videos posted on /VAMScenes, you are granting permission to have your images and videos used to showcase Virt-A-Mate and celebrate / recognize community created content. These platforms include but are not limited to Twitter, Gfycat, Pornhub, Slushe & Erome. Credit will always be given to the creator. If you would like your image image or video taken down from these sites, please contact u/NutkinChan.
Do not:
1 - Spam the Sub
2 - Post too frequently
3 - Create posts with "upvote this post enough and I'll unlock this content"
Failure to adhere to these nominal guidelines will result in the post(s) being removed at the mod’s discretion. We may turn on the limit feature of the bot that manages these channels if this becomes an ongoing problem.
