A place dedicated to, well...bara manga. In this subreddit, you'll find lots of manga about hot, muscley, and hairy men in steamy situations.
r/baramanga is a Not Safe for Work (NSFW) 18+ community. You must be over eighteen years old to participate.

Abide by the Reddiquette.
No reposting of art that has been posted less than three months ago or is part of our Top of All Time posts.
Manga can be reposted if the original post was made more than six months ago - the new post has to abide by the given Manga/Comics Guidelines.
Only post direct links to bara-related content (no links to ads).
Don’t post more than five times a day.
Images that are part of a set or belong together should be posted as an album or a gallery post.
Posts made on the subreddit have to be Bara-themed as described here, featuring distinctly masculine in appearance characters with varying degrees of muscle, body fat, and body hair, akin to bear or bodybuilding culture
Art depicting characters that do not fit the above-given criteria is not allowed - all characters must do so - even if a single one doesn't, it may still be grounds for removal.
The canonical age of the depicted characters is not taken into account - we can’t be expected to know or check the age of a character every time we receive a report. Therefore, if a character appears to be underage - they are a minor and vice versa.
Reports based solely on a character's canonical age will be ignored.
Bara is occasionally conflated with Yaoi (also known as boys' love or BL), but Yaoi is historically created by and for women and typically features androgynous bishĹŤnen (lit. "beautiful boys") - "highly idealized" boys and young men who blend both masculine and feminine qualities.
Yaoi content is generally not allowed as it doesn’t fit the subreddit’s definition of Bara.
The Bara art genre is stylized rather than realistic, influenced by Eastern and Western comic art. Pornographic films and imagery are not allowed even if it includes people that fit one of the Bara character archetypes described in our definition of Bara.
Realistic art and other realistic content are to be judged on a case-by-case basis.
Posts should link to a page owned by the author (Twitter, Pixiv, etc.) in the comments or caption section.
It does not count if the source is only on the image/content (watermarks), is given only in the title or is a link to a third-party image hosting site (e.g. Rule34, Danbooru).
For OC, authors could only mention that they are the creator in the title, although a link is still recommended.
Unsourced posts are more likely to be removed if reported and don’t go towards our banners.
When posting full-length Manga/Comics, refer to the Guidelines here. This doesn’t apply to short Manga/Comics - for them, the Other flair should be used.
Crossposts from other subreddits/sites and promotions that use art that’s not original must be sourced.
It is recommended to contact the moderators for exact guidance. In general, when promoting non-art content, you need to make a text post that clearly describes what you are promoting.
OC art posts that are overly promotional - heavy use of censorship, watermarks and/or promotional text, can only be made once a week.
You can promote non-art content once a month.
No purely AI-generated art is allowed. AI can be used - for example, as a reference or as a starting point, but the final product should be sufficiently novel.
You may be asked to disclose the use of AI if we deem that not to be the case. A user can make no more than one such post a day using the Other flair.
You can read a detailed description of the subreddit’s flairs here.
