/r/dykeconversion is a subreddit for lesbians and adjacent queer people to explore nonconsensual fantasies about men and being "turned straight." This is purely a kink and fantasy community and in no way condones real world corrective rape or conversion or tolerates support for them. For more info on this kink (known as "orientation play") and on our sub's values and expectations, see the FAQ post linked below.
Just because someone's on this sub doesn't mean they're necessarily into everything you say and do. If someone tells you to cut something out, do it. This rule applies to activity outside the subreddit including DMs, harassing or creeping on users you met on this sub will get you banned from the sub no matter where said behaviour takes place.
Due to the inherent risk of this kink fuelling homophobia, this rule will be applied broadly. If you don't respect someone's rights in real life, you can't be trusted to violate them in fantasy. Full stop.
This includes the use of slurs, including 'dyke', in comments. Any comments that use this kind of language without the expressed consent of the OP will be treated as legitimate bigotry. First offenses may receive either a warning or a ban, at moderator discretion. Further offenses will result in a ban.
To be clear what is consented to for commenters, all posts must contain a tag of the format [list, of, kinks OK], [serious comments only], or [N/A]; e.g., [lewd comments, degradation, misogyny, "dyke" OK]. Note that use of the word "dyke" is not permitted if it's not listed in the tag. Any comments that include anything that wasn't consented to with these tags will be removed and may result in a ban. If you want to include a kink the OP hasn't mentioned, please ask if it's OK before doing so.
Don't try to pass off your fantasies as real situations you're in. And if there's any ambiguity or potential for something you're saying to be read the wrong way, clearly indicate whether comments you're leaving are intended sincerely or as fantasy.
Your post has to have something to do with the primary topic of the sub or it will get removed. This rule is somewhat flexible. For example, a post by an FtM user involving both their gender and their sexuality is fine, but one which is focused entirely on their gender and has no direct relation to turning straight is outside the sub's purview.
Selfies posted on other days will be removed. A selfie being included in a post which is also another form of content (e.g. as the image in original caption or linked in a discussion post) won't get that post removed, but if a post is just a selfie and a title it will be.
It is okay to post content with fantasy political themes, but don't post content related to real-world right-wing movements, we don't want to give them oxygen. This ties into "no legitimate bigotry".
The following tags must be used for any and all applicable content: [Homophobia], [Misogyny], [Nonconsent]. [FTM Misgendering], [NB Misgendering], [MTF Misgendering]. Any content that includes any of these themes without the appropriate content warning tag and/or without being marked as a spoiler will be removed.
This includes both pictures and videos of masturbation. Any content including pictures of dicks needs to be made relevant to the sub (for example with a relevant caption, or linked in a discussion post, where the dick pic adds to the discussion and isn't just gratuitous). This includes Selfie Sundays; Selfie Sundays are for sapphic individuals to post selfies, not men to post dick pics.
Any posts that are solely seeking hookups, RP, "threats in DMs", etc will be deleted.
Any thread marked with the Aftercare flair is for providing support and aftercare to the OP who posted it. Any comments containing text that can be interpreted as homophobia, misogyny, or degradation in those threads will be treated as legitimate bigotry and result in a ban. Any other sexual talk will be treated as a violation of boundaries and consent and also result in a ban.
