About this subreddit:

Hello! Welcome to r/shibari! The goal of this sub is grow, learn, discuss, and share with others the beautiful art of rope bondage.

We welcome folks from all walks of life across the spectrum of skill levels to contribute their rope work.

To keep our community running smoothly, we have a few rules to follow below.

Rules:

  1. 1. This subreddit is a safe area for shibari practitioners of all skill levels

    Disrespectful or degrading comments on users' physique will not be tolerated.

    Degrading comments includes unwanted sexual remarks.

  2. 2. This subreddit is not a platform for self-promotion

    This rule applies to posts, comments, and pictures including urls or username from social media other than Reddit.

    We won't apply penalties to users promoting their their other social media accounts elsewhere on Reddit, as long as this rule is followed here.

  3. 3. Avoid suggestive titles for posts

    Use neutral titles whenever possible.

    Example of title not accepted: "What would you do with me if I were in this situation?", "Come and join me", etc.

  4. 4. Drawings/Arts are accepted, but only for educational purposes and/or for guidance

    This subreddit is mainly dedicated to the practice of shibari.

  5. 5. Rope must be a primary component of a post

    The purpose of this sub is to appreciate the art of rope and how we use it. Please make sure rope is a primary feature in posts to remain on topic.

  6. 6. No personal ads or r4r

    You’ll have much better luck at r/BDSMpersonals or r/bdsmr4r as well as Fetlife.com
