A subreddit to ask questions for men who have sex with men
Transphobia and bigotry will not be allowed.
This means we distinguish between naive, well meant questions that come across badly and actual hate speech. The latter as well as obvious trolling, adhom, etc will be removed. Repeat offenders will be banned.
Differences of opinion happen - if you disagree with someone how you deal with them is up to you. You can choose to ignore people, down vote their comment, or if their comment violates a rule - you can report it. Simply disagreeing with someone is not grounds to report their comment.
Everyone means EVERYONE (as long as they're not trolling or spewing hatespeech). As long as they are participaing in good faith, nobody should ever be told they don't belong here because of who they are.
Explicitly: That means gay men, bi men, pan men, ace men, questioning men, trans men, straight men, women of all types, non-binary/gender-fluid people, aliens, and especially cats. Welcome to the sub!

You're not alone! Which is wonderful, but it also means that your question may have already graced the face of this little sub. Please try the search bar first and you might find your answer even quicker!
Questions about sex are welcome - encouraged even! But this isn't a sub for gushingly detailed erotica. There are whole subreddits devoted to textual fapping material. This is not one of them.
Trust me: I value input from our resident sassy queens. It's ok to be blunt. It's not ok to be a dick. ^^^Well... ^^^ok, ^^^you ^^^know ^^^what ^^^I ^^^mean.
Please don't be mean or dismissive. We're here to represent our community and answer the burning questions of BOTH curious outsiders and fellow queerbois. Lets try to empathize and help them on their quest for knowledge!
This sub does not exist to be judge and jury of your relationship woes.

I apologize to researchers; I know first-hand how hard it is to collect a decent sample size for psychological or sociological research. But this subreddit would be overtaken by research queries if we allowed them. Letting some through would be too much manual moderation that neither of us have time for.
Self-promotion or invites to other communities are an obvious part of this rule. It's just clutter. Sorry. :/

Struggling with "the gay community" worried you'll always be alone because you're not like other gays? Hate XYZ because no one wants to date? - congrats. These aren't questions -they're rants veiled as questions and this isn't the place for them.
If your "straight friend" is going through something, questioning their orientation or gender identity - these questions and scenarios have been submitted here often enough - use the search function. You'll see the answer is almost always "don't"
